Our company CONTECHIN GROUP s.r.o. won the tender at the beginning of 2021. It is an international project Aid for Trade Mongolia – Transfer of know-how for energy saving by insulating buildings. Transfer of know-how in the insulation of the boarding school building of the TVET Erdene school. Despite the uncertain times, especially thanks to covid-19, we decided that we wanted to participate in this project. We did our best for it. Plans and preparations change every day with regard to the current global situation. But for us, such tasks are a challenge!
The planned departure at the end of June was several times postponed or canceled by the airlines. Due to great support and help from the Czech Embassy in Ulaanbaatar the insulation of the boarding house in Erdene has been possible to carry out this year. Managing Director of CONTECHIN GROUP s.r.o. Ing. Bořivoj Minář flew to Ulaanbaatar in August 2021. After completing the mandatory quarantine, he was able to start the process of insulation of the entire dormitory building with an area of approximately 1,100 m2 and the transfer of required know-how. The deadline for the implementation was shortened from the original 12 weeks to 6 weeks.
We are proud of the hard work of all involved and their personal approach to the whole project. The main goal was not only to insulate the boarding building, but above all to teach local apprentices and associated implementation companies the correct method of insulation according to European standards. To acquaint them with the composition of ETICS, to understand how it is necessary to pay attention to the quality of all thermal insulation materials.
All ETICS components were imported to Mongolia from the Czech Republic. Only EPS insulation was supplied by a local manufacturer. The insulation was stabilized according to our requirements in order to avoid undesired deformations on the entire thermal insulation system in the future.
International project Aid for Trade Mongolia – Transfer of know-how for saving energy by insulating buildings with thermal insulation our project and cooperation with Mongolia does not end!
